I have been making Papier-Mache Santas for 21 years. The designs are all my own. I get my inspiration from antique Santas and Christmas cards and a bit of my own imagination. I use papier-mache pulp, made from paper, water and glue, much like they did in Victorian times. Their figurines were hollow, made by pressing two halves with machinery, then gluing the pieces together and finishing. The latter processes were often done as a cottage industry, with local townspeople doing the finishing detail work at home. My Santas are solid paper pulp. They are made by me without machinery. Thanks for visiting. Please feel free to contact me with questions or problems.
